Christmas Markets

Variety is the spice of Christmas in Potsdam: first there is the Festival of Blue Lights in the historical city centre (22 November to 26 December). Next comes the Bohemian Christmas market in the weavers' quarter in Babelsberg (26-28 November).This is followed by the Romantic Christmas market (20 November to 26 December) at Bornstedt crown estate, at the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage site, and the Sinterklaas market in the Dutch quarter (11 & 12 December). Last but not least is the Star market on Neuer Markt square (3-5 December), where Germany's Polish neighbours present their arts, crafts and culinary specialities. There is so much to discover at the Christmas markets in Potsdam and they offer new experiences every time
