Christmas Markets

Saarbrücken

Saarbrücken's historical St. Johanner Markt square and the region's most popular shopping street, Bahnhofstrasse, provide the ideal setting for the Christkindl Markt. The quaint Alpine hut and the rustic winter barn provide a congenial setting for a hot punch or glühwein. Every evening at 5pm and 7pm, Father Christmas and his reindeer sleigh hover over the market as if by magic while he tells the story of Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer to an audience of all ages. On 11 December, those who stay on a bit longer can enjoy a spot of shopping after their visit to the Christmas market, with stores in the city centre open until midnight. Those who love a touch of romantic Christmas atmosphere should head for the Old Saarbrücken Christmas market, held on 27 and 28 November 2021 from 11am to 11pm.

Opening times
11/25/2010 - 12/23/2010
