Bautzen's Christmas market has a long tradition going back as far as 1384. The modern version features around 80 stalls offering food, drink and other festive delights in the seasonally decorated town centre. Every day, Father Christmas opens another window of the Advent calendar on Hauptmarkt square. Treat yourself to culinary specialities of the season and enjoy a variety of entertainment, from Christmas concerts and carol singing to the ceremonial cutting of the stollen cake.
