Dortmund Christmas market has been spreading the joys of the season for more than 100 years. It is also home to the tallest Christmas tree in the world. This work of art comprising 1,700 individual fir trees and thousands of lights bathes the entire scene in a festive glow. More than 300 stalls offer all the seasonal treats your heart could desire. You can even make your own Christmas coin, which is minted using a historical drop hammer. Decorative Christmas letters with special stamps and a Christmas market postmark are an annual Dortmund favourite and return again this year. Children can make their own presents and bake cookies in the Christmas village. Just some of the many things to look forward to at Germany's largest Christmas market.
