Altötting's enchanting Christkindlmarkt, now in its 40th year, is held around the Chapel of the Miraculous Image on Kapellplatz, a beautiful square flanked by fine baroque buildings. The market offers a wonderful selection of hand-crafted items along with culinary delicacies from sweet to savoury that will delight your taste buds. Don't miss the traditional Advent concerts with choirs and orchestras from Upper Bavaria and Salzburg, and the grand Christmas concert with the Salzburger Domsingknaben boys' choir.
