Brühl is best known as the home of Augustusburg Palace (UNESCO World Heritage) and the Phantasialand theme park, but it also hosts a superb Christmas market. Enjoy delightful arts and crafts, enchanting music and delicious food and drink. Christmas markets in historical settings are also found in nearby towns and villages: the St. Nicholas market in medieval Alt-Kaster (just outside Bedburg), at Loersfeld House in Kerpen with its gourmet restaurant and English garden, and in the style of the Middle Ages at Kommandeursburg country estate.
