Christmas illuminations and trumpet fanfares on the hour bring Germany's largest market square to life during Advent. Freudenstadt Christmas market is as enchanting as can be for seasonal shopping and speciality food and drink. Arts and crafts include hand-made decorations, ornate Nativity figures, intricate carvings, toys, and hand-knitted scarves and hats, while the many culinary delights range from hot chestnuts and fried potato dumplings to waffles. There's so much on offer that appeals to all the senses.
