The Christmas market in Bernkastel-Kues is set against the historical backdrop of the old town with its medieval squares, narrow streets and magnificent town hall. A varied programme of Christmas entertainment sets the festive tone. Other things to look out for as you stroll through the market include the gingerbread house and the giant Advent calendar, where a new door opens every evening.
