Christmas Markets

Koblenz

Enjoy browsing the festive stalls; copyright: Koblenz-Touristik
The picturesque old quarter of Koblenz, the town where the Rhine and Moselle converge, has over 130 festive wooden huts at its Christmas market. These extend from the Church of Our Lady and Am Plan to Jesuitenplatz, Rathausplatz and Münzplatz squares. Explore the Christmas market in the company of tour guides free of charge. Alternatively, sit back, sip from a warm mug of glühwein and see Koblenz in all its festive splendour on a horse-drawn carriage ride. Children can look forward to a life-size Nativity scene, the Christmas bakery and a visit by Father Christmas. The town hall courtyard provides a delightful open-air setting for the Christmas vocal concert which includes gospel, a-capella and much more besides. 'Shopping by starlight' gives you the opportunity to shop until midnight.
