Watch craftsmen demonstrate their talents in the snow-white marquees on Kapuzienerplanken. Original gift ideas, great food and drink and their wonderful works of art make for an irresistible combination. Surrounded by Europe's largest art nouveau architectural ensemble, the area around Mannheim's historical water tower is a Christmas town in its own right. Stretching as far as Christkindlplatz square, 200 lovingly decorated stalls are arranged in festive little streets filled with the sights, sounds and smells of the season. Christmas music and vibrant dances from around the world bring joy to the heart.
