Christmas Markets


Kassel

The fairytale Christmas market on Königsplatz and Friedrichsplatz squares in Kassel is a truly magical experience. This year’s theme in the heartland of the German Fairytale Route is “The Wishing Table” by the Brothers Grimm. Attractions include the world’s tallest fairytale pyramid and festive offerings at numerous stalls in the town centre. There’s a buzzing Christmas atmosphere throughout, from the quaint Königsalm tavern to the corners of the fairytale forest.
