Snowflakes falling on a festively lit stall
At the Christmas market time in Fulda, the historical buildings of this baroque town are bathed in a magical glow. The air is full of delicious aromas - roasted almonds and glühwein - drifting over from the decorated stalls around the market church. Trumpeters play in historical costumes and organ recitals ring out from the cathedral.
