Christmas lights wherever you look
Freiburg Christmas market in the heart of the old quarter is a delight for young and old. Arts and crafts on offer include handblown glass art and wooden toys, and there is also a candle workshop. Tempting aromas of glühwein, bratwurst and honey gingerbread drift through the town’s beautifully illuminated lanes. Children can bake their own treats in the Christmas bakery and create handicrafts in the Land of Lights.
