Christmas Markets


Duisburg

A dazzling glow as far as the eye can see and the aroma of roasted almonds and seasonal spices: when Christmas comes to Duisburg, the Königstrasse is transformed into a glittering winter wonderland lit up by fairy lights, 130 beautifully decorated stalls and an amazing 750 Christmas trees. There is even a 400m² ice rink at the end of the street outside the Kuhtor gate. Festive music plays quietly on Averdunkplatz square, part of an enchanting programme of cultural entertainment.
