Stralsund

Hanseatic heritage in the old quarter
The Christmas market in Stralsund, a UNESCO World Heritage town, offers an enchanting Advent atmosphere and a sense of Hanseatic tradition. It extends from festively decorated Alter Markt square - with its Gothic town hall and illuminated ice rink - past the historical town houses and shops to Neuer Markt square. A craft market can be found in St. James’ Church.
