Brightly-lit stalls in Beethoven?s home town
The illuminated façades on Münsterplatz, Bottlerplatz and Friedensplatz squares and in adjoining pedestrian streets provide the evocative backdrop for the Christmas market in Beethoven’s home town. If the scents of pine needles, glühwein, sweet chestnuts and gingerbread don’t get you in the Christmas spirit, the festive events on stage surely will. From 1 December, the historical town hall is transformed into a giant Advent calendar.
