A stroll through Düsseldorf along its illuminated Königsallee is a wonderful festive experience. The Christmas markets in various locations across the city all have a charm of their own. The Little Angel market on Heinrich- Heine-Platz square is an art nouveau delight and there are old-fashioned stalls outside the historical town hall where craftsmen demonstrate their skills.
