Murnau am Staffelsee

Take a romantic stroll and breathe in the festive aromas
Murnau's pretty little Christmas village, which is arranged around St. Mary's column in the historical town centre, is an absolute gem. See craftsmen demonstrate their artistry and expect a warm, friendly welcome at the food and drink stalls. Enjoy festive experiences from Christmas concerts, the "Alpine Choir Christmas" and carol singing to horse-drawn sleigh rides through the Murnauer Moos conservation area and a guided torch-lit walk. From Sunday 30 November onwards, there are surprises in store at a different shop every day. A new twist on the Advent calendar. The traditional Christmas market takes place in the upper and lower market squares.
