Bad Wimpfen

Historical costumes bring Christmas to life
Bad Wimpfen’s traditional German Christmas Market is one of the oldest in the country and has a great medieval atmosphere. The old quarter and Hohenstaufen imperial palace form the backdrop for 160 festive stalls and a whole host of fantastic events. Join a tour of discovery with nightwatchmen and town guides in historical costume. Another addition to the yuletide magic is the Finnish Christmas village which offers a wide range of Scandinavian specialities.
