Shopping

Lübeck Pedestrian precinct outside the town hall, copyright Lübeck und Travemünde Tourist-Service GmbH
Popular Lübeck souvenirs are marzipan and Rotspon (special red wine). There is a wide range of shops and the old quarter is great for browsing. Fine antiques and high-quality craftwork can be found just a few steps from international fashion stores.

Lübeck Niederegger marzipan
Niederegger offer a wide range of marzipan and other delicacies with over 300 specialities to choose from - numerous varieties of marzipan, fine pralines, nougat, “tree cake”, stollen and rather special biscuits.

Breite Strasse and Königstrasse
The pedestrian precinct in the town centre has a wide range of department stores, international fashion chains and many smaller shops. Königstrasse also has Lübeck's finest row of classical houses.

Hüxstrasse and Fleischhauerstrasse
With their old buildings and wealth of small, individual stores, Hüxstrasse and Fleischhauerstrasse are two of Lübeck's most attractive shopping streets. There are mainly craft shops, wine shops and delicatessens here, but also stores with lovely children's clothes and toys.
