Brandenburg's "Ice Age Route"
This well-signposted round trip connects the districts of Barnim, Uckermark and the northern Brandenburg uplands, as well as the Lower Oder Valley national park, the Schorfheide-Chorin biosphere reserve and the Barnim and Uckermark Lakes nature reserves. In exploring the interesting cities, fascinating glacial boulders, fieldstone buildings, places of ritual worship, megalith grave sites and castle ruins, visitors will gain a wealth of geological and historical information about the effects of the last Ice Age.

Tropical Islands resort
The Tropical Islands resort has white sandy beaches, blue lagoons, a rain forest with 500 species of tree, South Pacific islands, an entire tropical village, shows and entertainment, all at a constant 25°C in the shade. The only tropical holiday resort in Europe housed in one of the largest halls in the world is a paradise for adults and kids alike. There's always something happening here, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. There are rainforest safaris and a kids club, daily courses and workshops and of course parties in the evenings.
