International Long-distance Cycle Routes

Nowhere else in Europe has as many neighbours as Germany, which borders no fewer than nine countries. That translates into nine simple ways to discover new places by bike. Numerous long-distance cycle routes in Germany dip in and out of neighbouring countries. What's more, because of the European Union, queues at the border and passport checks are a thing of the past. The Radweg Berlin-Kopenhagen, for example, covers a considerable distance between the German and Danish capitals, while the United Countries Tour has several routes to discover that cross from the lowlands of Germany into the Netherlands.
If you are looking to explore even more of Europe by bike, an excellent route planner is available from EuroVelo, the European cycle route network (www.ecf.com). Take advantage of Germany's location at the heart of the continent, where new adventures await in every direction, and at every destination. Not a corner of Europe exists where cyclists are not welcome.
