Brandenburg

Potsdam and Berlin are perhaps the first places that come to mind when people think of Brandenburg. In Berlin, Germany's capital city, there's always something going on. It has pub and club quarters, museums, theatres, galleries and lakes where you can swim in the summer. In Potsdam visitors can follow in the footsteps of the kings of Prussia. Nature lovers can explore Berlin's green spaces and Potsdam with its many lakes, beautiful palace gardens and parkland. The Spree Forest, also part of Brandenburg, is an area where the Sorbs, a Slavic people, carefully preserve their language and traditions. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, a wellness oasis is setting new standards. Naturalness and sensuousness are the underlying principles of the romantic Zur Bleiche Resort and Spa. The tasteful interior has an antique-style patina. Guests can relax and bathe at the barn-sized country thermal spa, which features a swimming pool with a cosy open fire. There are equally fine culinary delights ranging from traditional dishes to gourmet cuisine for special diets and regional specialities such as Spree Forest gherkins. An all-round sense of well-being is an integral part of a visit to this exceptional resort.
