A forest walk through history - NATURE PARK HOCHTAUNUS

There are a total of three Nordic walking parks situated in the NATURE PARK HOCHTAUNUS. The Kneipp health resort Bad Camberg, the small timber framework town of Oberursel and the communities of Merzhausen and Hausen offer tours through the forests around the Grosser Feldberg. Castles and palaces, the Römerkastell Saalburg with the Limes adventure trail along the remains of the ancient Roman fortifications and the open-air museum Hessenpark are only a few of the attractions which can be taken along while walking past streams and fish ponds. The nature park just outside Frankfurt’s gates can easily be reached by public transport.
