To simplify the search for a good wellness hotel, Baden-Württemberg has a system of "wellness stars" which it awards to wellness hotels, thermal resorts and hotels offering medical facilities. The quality of the wellness facilities, treatments, staff and service are all refl ected by this quality marque. 44 wellness hotels, 11 thermal resorts and 5 medical wellness providers have been independently assessed on the basis of the strict "wellness star" criteria.
