Friedrichsbau Varieté Stuttgart

The variety show in general is a multicoloured mixture of artistic performances. Artistry and acrobatics, comedy and magic, music and dance melt in this kind of theatre to a festival of the senses and invite the audience to laugh, to wonder and to dream.

The "Friedrichsbau Varieté" Stuttgart has a long tradition and an amazing history. It's hightime, as well as its foundation, dates back to the end of the 19th century. Since the re-opening in 1994 the "Friedrichsbau" established itself as one of the very few special and important variety-show-stages in Germany. No wonder: Mr. Bernhard Paul, the director of the "Circus Roncalli" and artistic director, casts young talents and well-known stars for the "Friedrichsbau Varieté", to direct his fantastic shows: skilled magicians meet comedians, well-known jugglers meet eloquent compères. Throughout the show, the performances are accompanied live by the Friedrichsbau-Varieté-Orchestra.

At the champagne-bar in the theatre-foyer, champagne (and other drinks) is served, as well so in the auditorium itself, with its 369 blue velvet seats, you can also order culinary delicatessen à la carte.

In the wintertime the "Friedrichsbau Varieté" offers afternoon-shows for children. The program called "Cinnamon & Magic" takes children and adults beyond the borders of time and space.
