Landshut

Landshut's Christkindlmarkt is one of the prettiest in Bavaria. It is set amid the magnificent façades surrounding the charming square in front of St. Jodok church in Freyung. The yuletide offerings in this delightfully romantic sea of stalls are a feast for the senses, with festive music, delicious food and drink, arts and crafts, toys and Christmas  lights. If Nativity scenes are your thing, just look out for the star symbol, which will guide you around the town's displays.
