Cycling Tour Along the German Romantic Road

German Driving Tour

This is a self driving tour available on an individual basis throughout the year. The tour starts in Berlin with a city tour in the company of host Rene Langer of Berlin City Tour. After a two-night stay in Berlin participants receive their cars (fully insured mid-sized cars with GPS systems). They will have a route book which lists GPS addresses for each night's stay, what to do and see while driving, where to eat and other pertinent information. Stays on the tour will be in 5 and 4-star castles and country manors. Participants may opt to add two nights in Leipzig to visit the Porsche and BMW factories. It is necessary to make reservations well in advance if someone wants to opt for the factory visits so that they can be booked on the desired date. The tour is available throughout the year.
