Chocolate Museum

About 600,000 visitors come each year to see the unique chocolate museum in the centre of Cologne, in the middle of the river Rhine and to experience the secret of chocolate. The Chocolate Museum leads the visitor into an often enigmatic world of cocoa and chocolate. People are taken on a journey through 3.000 years of chocolate's cultural history. One can watch the production of milkchocolate, chocolate bars, hollow figures and truffles and is offered hot liquid chocolate on wafers at the chocolate fountain. The uniqueness of this museum is that the visitor can not only see but also feel, smell and taste the chocolate and cocoa.
