Museums

The "Historical Museum on the Rhine - Hildegard von Bingen" has an exhibition about Hildegard von Bingen. The "Romanticism on the Rhine" section contains a number of pictures and exhibits relating to the theme. Another section contains a set of instruments belonging to a Roman surgeon from the second century. The Stefan George Museum is dedicated to the work of the poet Stefan George. Born in Bingen in 1868, he held an exclusive, elitist view on art.
