Accessible Transportation

Travelers with disabilities can tour Frankfurt without much difficulty. The public busses are equipped with custom-built ramps for wheelchairs and plenty of room inside. The same applies to the trams. If you need further assistance, please ask the driver.

The subways have wide entrances for easy access. At particular subway lines, these wide doors are marked with yellow bars on the platform and inside the car. Elevators are available to access the platform. Sometimes it is necessary to switch elevators in order to get to another platform.
