Hamburg: Emigrant Museum BallinStadt

Exactly one hundred years after completion of the "emigration halls" by Albert Ballin on the Veddel canal, this emigration quarter rises anew at its historical site. As from 2007, interested visitors can relive the life stories of people who risked the voyage to a new life overseas in three reconstructed buildings.
