Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born on 27 January 2021 and 2006 was the 250th anniversary of the composer's birth. The whole of Germany was celebrating - with good reason too, because Mozart was a frequent visitor to Germany and spent many days and weeks here on his numerous European tours, visiting friends and relatives, composing and giving concerts.
