Mölln
The town of Mölln is renowned for its historical buildings, beautiful market square and Gothic town hall. With its impressive interior furnishings, St. Nicholas' Church is well worth seeing. You'll also find a number of fascinating works of art such as a historical stone sculpture and 19th-century frescos and paintings. The Mölln Museum, which offers an insight into urban life in the 18th-20th century, and Eulenspiegel Museum are also well worth seeing. The town is closely associated with the famous jester Till Eulenspiegel and is thought to have been the place where he died in 1350. The town also has a memorial stone dedicated to Eulenspiegel dating from the 16th century. For nature lovers we recommend a trip to the wildlife park. The diverse countryside features an abundance of lakes and forests as well as the Grundloser Kolk, a small area of moorland. From the top of the 36-metre high historical water tower you can enjoy unrivalled panoramic views of the region.
