Back in the 18th century, the old seafarers already knew a thing or two about good taste, seeing as they brought rum to Flensburg. In the harbour town`s heyday, there were over 200 rum houses in Flensburg. But it`s not just rum that characterises Flensburg`s drinking preferences. The locals are also loyal fans of the "Flensburger Brauerei" brewery and its beloved "Flens" beers.
Come and seek out the secrets of Flensburg`s golden drinks for yourself! Check them out, smell them, taste them – with Flensburg`s beautiful Old Town as a backdrop, you too can get to know and love the Fjord town`s mouth-watering drinks.
On a visit to the "Flensburger Brauerei", you can learn more about the art of brewing and the many different contents of their legendary "flop-top" bottles. Afterward you`ll have the opportunity to try their various beers. Perhaps you`ll want to take a few bottles home with you?
In the evening you will attend a tea and rum seminar in the small and cosy "Hökerei". It promises to be an enjoyable evening featuring history, manufacturing and tasting of tea and rum.

The Seehotel Templin opened its doors on 6th February 1984 as the recreation home of the GDR’s Free German Trade Union Association” named “Friedrich-Engels." One of the highlights back in the old days involved the organizational preparatory course of the GDR’s Olympic team for the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul. Therapeutic treatment weeks were taking place during the winter months for patients with cardiovascular diseases.

The package includes two nights at Hotel garni Seeufer in Plön which is located right at the Small Plön Lake. The rooms are decorated in a stylish and individual manner. And the hotel offers tours of the castle area and “Prinzenhaus”.
The “Prinzenhaus” can be regarded as a real gem of the rococo period. It was not only used as a ducal pavilion but also as the school for the sons of the last German Emperor Wilhelm II.
