Places to go diving

A dark diver in the water
You might not think so at first, but diving in Germany can be an amazing experience. The DiveGasometer in Duisburg is quite amazing: Europe's biggest training and education centre for diving, it caters for everyone from beginners to professionals. A shipwreck, wrecked cars, diving bells and an artificial reef all add to the diving experience (http://www.tauchgasometer.de/). For experienced and aspiring divers, Lake Constance is also highly recommended (http://www.bodensee-tauchen.de/, http://www.truesche.de/). Diving aficionados head for Hemmoor Kreidesee lake, a former chalk pit that has outstanding underwater visibility. (For more information, visit http://www.kreideseetaucher.de/.)

Wreck diving and cave diving in the Baltic are also increasing in popularity (http://www.nordic-experience.de, http://www.kreidefelsen.de/).
