Bad Suderode
Therapeutic waters from Europe's strongest calcium springs

As early as 500 years ago, an abbess from Quedlinburg wrote about the therapeutic spring waters of Bad Suderode. They contain minerals for treating a whole range of illnesses caused by a lack of calcium. The Behringen Well at the centre of the spa gardens is one of Europe's strongest calcium springs. Treatment is offered for the following conditions: cardiovascular disease, musculo-skeletal illnesses, respiratory tract diseases, psychosomatic fatigue, general weakness and convalescence.

Medical facilities

Classified as a calcium-rich saltwater spa, Bad Suderode has a wealth of picture-postcard spa facilities and attractions. With its local health treatment facilities, curative springs and trained specialists, it is the place to recuperate and relax. The therapeutic effect of its bubbling springs can alleviate a number of bone, back, circulatory and respiratory complaints.
