Hotels in Germany are available in every price bracket, ranging from very inexpensive accommodation in small hotels to rooms in mid-range hotels to luxury suites. Some German hotels are housed in ancient castles and palaces. Many hotels boast a range of facilities such as swimming pool, sauna and gym. Hotels are classified according to the standard criteria of the German hotel classification using a system that ranges from one star (accommodation for modest requirements) to five stars (accommodation for top-level requirements).
