The restaurant's design ensures that nothing distracts from the haute cuisine. Blue and white stained oak walls and panelling create a feeling of warmth; accents of colour are added by art deco armchairs beautifully upholstered in silver, anthracite and russet. Photographs by Robert Mapplethorpe adorn the walls of this award-winning restaurant, their brilliance and aesthetic perfection harmonising sublimely with the exclusive atmosphere. Sven Elverfeld was born in Hanau in 1968. After only seven years at Aqua in Wolfsburg, the home of Volkswagen, he is ranked among the young generation of elite German chefs. Since Aqua opened in 2000, Sven Elverfeld has continued to develop his creative style of light cuisine.
