Every year the Hessian Schlossgrabenfest Music Festival attracts music fans of every age. There are several stages with live bands playing every style of music. The Heinerfest festival around Darmstadt Palace is one of Germany's biggest town centre festivals and is fun for all the family. Live bands perform a variety of music on several stages. Other attractions include a children's festival, sports tournaments, exhibitions and drama. The event culminates in a huge firework display.
