Bonn: museum mile

Within only a few years a fascinating ensemble of museums rose from the government district of the former capital. Along a route of almost two miles five extraordinary collections housed in exciting modern architectural ventures. The museum mile starts with the zoological Mueum König in the Villa Hammerschmidt. The second stop is the House of History, followed by the Kunstmuseum Bonn and the Federal Art Hall (Bundeskunsthalle). Last but not least, there is the more technically orientated Deutsche Museum Bonn.
