Christmas Markets in Cologne

Cologne's Christmas market in front of the cathedral
Cologne boasts six extraordinary Christmas markets. There are pretty markets by the cathedral, at Alter Markt and Neumarkt, while Rudolfplatz is home to a fairytale- themed version and there is a medieval market outside the Chocolate Museum. Last but not least, a floating Christmas market is held on one of the "Köln-Düsseldorf" Rhine cruise ships. Get into the yuletide swing with countless stalls, mouth-watering delights from around the world, evocative Christmas concerts, stage shows, Nativity displays and a festive boat trip on the Rhine.
