Uelzen

This heathland town with its Hundertwasser railway station is transformed into an Advent fairytale world by 17 life-size scenes depicting fairy stories in the market streets. The focal point of Uelzen's Christmas market is the old town hall, its windows turned into a giant advent calendar by the artist MÁRA! For something really different visit the old German Christmas village which features 40 animals threatened with extinction.
