Visitors to events held in Augsburg's centrally located Exhibition Centre can expect a rapid-access layout, flexible exhibition halls that can be combined with one another, an adjoining park and outdoor areas, individual entrances and catering facilities for every hall, as well as state-of-the-art conference and service facilities. The Exhibition Centre is just a few minutes from the city centre, with connections to Augsburg airport, intercity rail links and the A8 autobahn that links Munich and Stuttgart. As well as 12 halls with 57,000m² of exhibition space in total and 18,000m² of permanent outdoor facilities, the centre also has a 3,500m² service and conference centre which can accommodate more than 1,200 people. Technical conference infrastructure and telephone, fax and IT facilities are also available. The centre can also stage concerts with up to 10,000 people.
