Munich
Munich airport

Munich airport offers a fantastic shopping experience with over 130 shops; in Terminal 1 most are situated in the all-access area, in Terminal 2 after security control.

7 days a week, 365 days a year

Stylish international designer boutiques, duty-free and travel value shops, specialist stores and souvenir shops. While away the time in one of the range of cafés and restaurants offering everything from fast-food to a five-course meal in the "Käfer" bistro. And as you might expect from Munich, the airport has its own brewery with a covered beer garden, serving freshly brewed "Airbräu" beer.

Places of interest

Munich Hofbräuhaus beer hall
With its famous onion domes, the 15th century Gothic Church of Our Lady is Munich's unmistakable landmark. Not far away, at Marienplatz, the carillon plays three times a day. And just a stone's throw from here is probably the most famous tavern in the world, the Hofbräuhaus beer hall. Other sightseeing highlights include the Olympic centre where the Olympic Games were held in 1972.
