Spas and health resorts

Many of Saxony's 13 state approved health resorts have a long tradition. In the Vogtlland spa region, visitors have been coming to Bad Elster and Bad Brambach to relax and recuperate for more than 150 years. In the Erzgebirge mountains too, as well as in Saxon Switzerland, Saxon Elbland, the Saxon "castle and moor" region and Upper Lusatia, visitors can enjoy fresh air, a "battery recharge" and beauty treatments at any time of year. Anyone seeking relaxing spa breaks or health treatments in attractive facilities set within a rich cultural landscape, Saxony is unbeatable.
